Obituary for Delores Hough

Delores Margaret Hough, 77, of Cass Lake died Monday, June 6, 2011 at her home.

Funeral Services will be Noon Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Cass Lake with Roswell Brown, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Pine Grove cemetery in Cass Lake.

Delores was born January 18, 1934 in International Falls, MN, the daughter of Myrle and Jenny (Nickeson) Cook. She was raised and educated in International Falls. She married George Clark Hough on August 7, 1948 in International Falls, MN. They moved to Cass Lake. She worked at restaurants in Cass Lake and at the Cass Lake School District and several local businesses. She loved to cook, no one left her home hungry. She was always there to help others and had a great sense of humor. She loved traveling with her sister and enjoyed the adventures. She enjoyed going to casinos and making fudge. She loved her family especially family picnics and holidays, her friends and her puppy.

She is survived by: 2 sons- Leslie Hough and Rodney Hough of Cass Lake, 6 daughters- Georgina “Jeannie” (William) Molash of Oklahoma City, OK Jackie (Roswell) Brown of Cass Lake, Yvonne (Anthony) Olson of Cass Lake, Debra Hough of Walker, MN Nancy (Kevin) Rafdahl of Warroad, MN Sandra (Randy) Hough of Warroad, MN 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren sister- Beverly (Cook) Ossachuk of International Falls, MN and numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her husband- George, Sr., parents, 2 sons- George, Jr. and Homer, and brothers- Walter Cook and Jack Sweeney.

Honorary Casketbearers will be all of Delores' great grandchildren.

Active Casketbearers will be all of Delores’ grandchildren.
