Larry Freeman, 60, of Kelliher, MN died on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Cornerstone Residence in Kelliher, Minnesota.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Cornerstone Residence in Kelliher, MN with Rev. Raul Perez-Cobo officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck, MN. His final resting place will be in Lake Michigan.
He was born April 28, 1952 in Highland Park, MI to Leroy and Shirley (Mack) Freeman. He was a construction worker for most of his life. He came to the Kelliher area about 20 years ago and worked construction for D&K Construction, Poxleitner Construction and worked in the wild rice fields at John Florhaug’s. He also worked at various sawmills in the area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with friends and having a beer once in a while. He spent several years traveling to Florida to care for his mother after his father died.
He is survived by two daughters, Melinda and Kristie Brandon, both of Michigan, five nieces and nephews and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sandra Davenport.
