Paul K. Hein, 61 of Bemidji died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji, MN. A visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Thursday. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji, MN. He was born December 5, 1950 in Bemidji, MN the son of Leonard and Trudy (Kennedy) Hein. He was a lifetime resident of Bemidji and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1969. He attended Bemidji State University and became partner at Bemidji Welders Supply until his retirement for medical reasons. He married Patsy Passeri in 1973; they were married for 24 years and had 3 sons. He was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his yard. He also liked to trap and skeet shoot. He was a member of the Bemidji Curling Club, Ducks Unlimited and NRA. He loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his 3 sons: Ben (Heidi) Hein of Bemidji Nathan (Nicki) Hein of Pinewood Neil Hein of Fargo His mother: Trudy Hein of Bemidji His sister: Leslie (Alan) Hartje of Bemidji 3 grandchildren: Alex, Kaitlyn and Zack

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant son.
