Odella Davids, 90, of Bagley, Minnesota died on Thursday, May 17,2012 at the Cornerstone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bagley, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley, MN with the Reverend Linden Wendzel officiating. Interment will be at the Bagley City Cemetery in Bagley, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted with the arrangements.

Odella was born on October 20, 1921 in Clearbrook, Minnesota the daughter of John and Johanna (Fenn) Loun. She grew up in Clearwater County and graduated from Bagley High School in 1937. Odella and Albert were married in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on December 13, 1942. For a number of years in the 1950’s she was a member of the Ground Observer Corps for the United States Air Force. From 1958 to 1962 Odella and Albert worked for Cole Sewell Engineering in Minneapolis. Odella lost her husband Albert in 1973 but remained in the metropolitan area until the late 1980’s then moving back to Bagley, MN. Winters were spent in California with brothers and summers at the “old house” farm South of Bagley. Odella loved to knit, crochet, quilt, garden, cook and bake. If there was a seed to be planted, Della would make sure it found a home in the soil. You could also expect to find a goody or two waiting for you when you would go to visit. Della celebrated her 90th birthday last October with many family and friends

She is survived by her sons – Wayne (Rosie) Davids of Andover, MN Gary (his late wife Diane) Davids of Anoka, MN Sister – Ida Steindl of Bagley, MN 4 grandchildren- Eben (Billie Jo), Heidi (Mike), Chip (Ami) and Christina (Steve) 9 great grandchildren – Michael, Brandi, Joshua, Baili, Breanna, Jessica, Jaiden, Jacob and Aaron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 brothers and sisters.
