Odin Tollefson 96 of Bagley, MN died on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Cornerstone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bagley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Landstad Lutheran Church in Shevlin, MN with Rev. Bill Goodman officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley. Interment will be at the Landstad Lutheran Cemetery in Shevlin. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted with the arrangements.

Odin was born March 16, 1916 in Vining, Minnesota the son of Theodore and Amanda Tollefson. Odin married Mabel Sebo in 1939 and they were married 67 years before Mabel’s passing on November 3, 2006. He worked for a number of years manufacturing potato equipment before starting Odin’s Welding Shop in East Grand Forks. In 1963 Odin and Mabel moved to Fairbanks, Alaska where he worked construction and eventually on the Alaskan Pipeline. After spending many years in Alaska, Odin retired and moved back to Bagley. He kept busy with a used camper trailer sales business and buying and remodeling houses. Odin later married Gladys Knutson in Bagley on September 12, 2007. Odin was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed summer days at Big Floyd Lake with his family. He rode the jet ski until he was 95. He was a very active man and able to fix most anything.

He is survived by his wife Gladys of Bagley, MN Son – Tom (Jan) Tollefson of East Grand Forks, MN Daughter – Debi Corwin of Renton, WA Grandchildren -Todd (Tracy) Tollefson of East Grand Forks, MN – Amanda (Warren) Schatz of West Fargo, ND – Leisa (Robb) Manning of Gold Bar, WA and Ryan (Danica) Corwin of Renton, WA. 11 - Great Grandchildren Sisters – Thora Woodward Cartwright of Bemidji, MN – Alice Searcy of Kendrick, ID Step-children – Wade (Sue), Clyde (Peggy), Lance (Renae), Cindy, Klay (Wendy) Knutson all of Bagley, MN and many step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mabel, brothers – Roy and Millerd Tollefson and sister Amy Olson Rud.
