Maria Ann Tollefson, 40, of Leonard, MN passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Bible Chapel, Clover, near Leonard, with Pastor Kent Dudley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at East Zion Cemetery near Leonard followed by a lunch at the church. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted with the arrangements.

Maria was born in Anoka, Minnesota on September 11, 1971, the daughter of Andrew and Launie Damann. She was baptized when she was thirteen hours old at Mercy Medical Center in Coon Rapids by Pastor Charles Wind. After completing high school, Maria attended Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, MN and received her LPN. She worked in Bemidji and Saint Cloud for several years, and later attended school to learn drafting. Maria had one daughter, Rachelle Deanne, born January 22, 1991, with her first husband, Harold Dean Crider. They later divorced. She married Conrad Murl Tollefson, of Leonard, MN on February 13, 2009. Maria was a member of Faith Bible Chapel in Clover, and was active in church events. She always loved fishing, hunting, camping and gardening. She took pride in canning and preserving many goods she had raised. She also took great pleasure in barbequing and having picnics and entertaining friends and family. Faith and family were very important to her.

She is survived by her husband - Conrad Tollefson, daughter - Rachelle (James) Symington of Dardanelle, AR Step-children – Christopher, Gabriel, Serenity, Nathaniel, Michael and Theodore Tollefson Granddaughter - Kyra Ann Marie Crider Step Granddaughters – Julie and Olivia Father – Andrew Damann Sr. of Shevlin, MN Mother - Launie Wilson of Leonard, MN Brothers – Daniel Sipp of Thief River Falls, MN and Andrew Damann Jr. of Lengby, MN and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Harvey and Wanda Kliewer and Charles and Stella Damann
