Frieda Sophie Line, 78, of Park Rapids, MN died on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Essentia Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Frieda S. Schreiber was born on February 1, 1934 at White Earth Township in Becker County, MN the daughter of William A. and Lucy A. (Clayton) Schrieber. She grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes, MN. She was united in marriage to Woodrow Line on May 16, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN. They lived, worked and raised their children in Minneapolis where she worked for some time at Control Data. After their retirement they moved to the Park Rapids area, where they enjoyed living on the lake. Frieda worked at the Super 8 Motel in Park Rapids and also worked as a seamstress in a local clothing manufacturer. She enjoyed fishing and bowling. She enjoyed spending time with her many grandkids and great grandkids. She also enjoyed socializing with her many friends. She is survived by her daughter – Sharon (Eric) Nagler of Evergreen, Colorado; two sons – Ed (Diane) Line of Isanti, MN; Randy (Chris) Line of Park Rapids, MN; Grandson – Jason (Becca) Talbert of Detroit Lakes, MN; step-son - Mike (Nancy) Line of Detroit Lakes, MN; 2 step-daughters - Betty (Nick) Bizusky of Mpls, MN; Marlene (Howie) Reisman of Champlain, MN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 4 brothers – Clayton (Caroline) Schreiber of Minot, N.D.; John Schreiber of Texas; Carl Schreiber of Texas; Jim (Nancy) Schreiber of Texas; her sister – Dorothy Contrares of Omaha, Nebraska; Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband – Woodrow Line; her son – Robert Talbert; and her step-daughter - Judy Jensen. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the Park Rapids Eagles Club in Park Rapids, MN. Visitation will be held for 1 hour prior to the services at the hall. Pastor Art Wood will be the officiant. A luncheon will be held at the Eagles fellowship hall following the services. Friends may leave on-line condolences at ceasefuneralhome.com.
