Adam E. Poole, 23, of Nevis, MN died unexpectedly near Nevis, MN on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
Adam Earl Poole was born on July 15, 1990 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota the son of
Scott E. and Teresa D. (Pomrenke) Poole. The first part of his life he lived in
Minnetonka, MN. He moved with his family to the Nevis area and he attended Nevis Public Schools, graduating in 2011. While in high school he enjoyed playing football and golf. He spent two summers working in the Twin Cities, living with John and Michelle Adair and their two girls whom he considered his second family. He also had worked part time at the Round Bay Resort near Nevis. Adam also lived in Bemidji where he worked as a car mechanic.
He was united in marriage to his sweetheart Allison M. Franklin on September 7, 2013 in Menahga, MN. Most recently he was working as a finish carpenter for Wes Newman Construction Company. Adam enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and camping. He was an expert at the bean bag tossing game, very competitive but friendly. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends
He is survived by his wife – Allison “Allie” Poole of Nevis, MN; His parents – Scott and Teresa Poole of Nevis, MN; his sister – Jessica (Will) Wicks and new born nephew -Wyatt of Nevis, MN; his mother and father in law- Keith and Shelly Franklin of Menahga, MN; Maternal grandparents – Glenden and Betty Pomrenke of Worthington, MN; his paternal grandmother – Louise Poole of Nevis, MN; his brother in law – Andrew Franklin of Menahga, MN. Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather – Albert Poole, and his uncle – Shane Pomrenke
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Park Rapids, MN. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening Oct. 10, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN. Visitation will also be held for 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Rev. John A. Ramsbacher will be the officiant. Interment will be held at the Shell City Cemetery near Huntersville, MN.
